This week in image of the week:
This is one of the breathing towers for the Kingsway Mersey Tunnel. It’s a very imposing building on the skyline looking over to Liverpool where you can see it’s sister.
Although it’s not the prettiest structure in the world it still has it’s own charm. You can walk right underneath it (as I did) so I couldn’t fit it all in the frame, I would have to be in the middle of the River Mersey if I did. But when you do see it in full it looks a little like a huge pair of speakers!
It doesn’t apologize for what it is and does have some nice geometric qualities. It’s an interesting statement for something that’s just a really big fan…
